The Nuclear Regulatory Commission held an informational meeting in Kemmerer Tuesday, July 16th. This meeting outlined the procedure to submit comments in the proposed Natrium Reactor Plant south of Kemmerer. Here are some key slides from that meeting. I was sure they were going to utilize the same cooling water as the Naughton Plant. They showed a slide depicting the route needed to bring that water over to the new location. There were several questions about "waste water." It is important to recognize that the cooling water is not "waste" in the sense that there is no chemical or radiological contamination. It picks up heat from steam plant condensers and dissipates it, but is not contaminated in any way. Comments may be submitted as shown in the last slide,
